Translatortown.com Review

Just today I found another marketplace for translators, proofreaders, interpreters and whatsoever. It is translatortown.com but I am not interested to link their site to my site.

I registered there today but nothing I can do as a free member. What I can only do is only prepare my profile as an English Korean translator. That's all.

I can't bid on any job because to do so, I have to upgrade myself to a Standard Member at USD69/year or Gold Member at USD99/year.

Maybe that's how they (the website owner) is making money - membership site. They also serve Google Adsense on their site haha

So I decided not to upgrade my membership there ;)

Korean Proofread Service on Fiverr

I have to admit its quite difficult to find a professional proofreader for Korean Language on internet, because most of them are hiding behind marketplace.

You may find a good proofreader for this language on many translation or interpreter marketplace, but not on their personal website. Don't they know how to create a website for themselves? Hehe

Anyway, here I wanna share a gig offering this service on Fiverr. This gig, the seller is giving you professional Korean proofread service at a really cheap rate. 500 words for only USD5, where else you can find this great deal?

Real Time Telephone Translation

Have you ever heard about real time telephone translation? I am sure you are not.

You might be very familiar with Google Translate to translate a word, but when it comes to a sentences, Google Translate is useless. Everything turn upside down.

In Japan, announced today by its largest mobile operator that an application has been introduced.

The application for NTT DoCoMo subscribers will give two-way voice and text readouts of conversations between Japanese speakers and those talking in English, Chinese or Korean with a several-second delay, the firm said.

It sounds great right? But I am still prefer real human translation for a correct translations.
